Join us on Wednesday, June 12th for a Nordic Culinary Workshop with “Chef Anna” Juola at Puustelli Kitchen Showroom and celebrate a successful FCSP 2018-2019 year of programming.  Puustelli has been well-known for rich tradition in Scandinavian kitchen design for nearly 100 years.  This Minneapolis location, opened in 2016, is the first showroom in the USA!  Their elegant kitchen solutions follow all the important principles of Scandinavian design: simplicity, clean lines, and a minimal, smart design for every possible use.

Our class will be an exciting, 3 hour, hands-on, interactive experience where we will interact and learn from Chef Anna. It’ll be an evening of relaxing, connecting and enjoying while involved in food preparation & juicing.  We will learn how to prepare (and enjoy eating) Nordic-inspired foods including: appetizers, Karelian Pasty, Creamy Salmon Soup, Summer Vegetable Soup and Lingonberry Pudding.  All made with locally and organically sourced ingredients.  Wines & cocktails will be served.  All registering must be 21 or over.

“Chef Anna” Juola will be our evening teacher.  Anna is a co-founder and leads sales and marketing for Puustelli USA.  Her experience and knowledge in the design and cabinetry market come from her love of family and how a home can bring people together.  Through Anna’s work she hopes to inspire clients to create their dream home or environment. She believes that change is good, and it can bring great comfort as well as broaden the senses and experiences. She often shares that she came to Minneapolis from Finland with her husband, Mikko, and her children to chase the dream of bring Puustelli to America, a country she loves.  Anna encourages everyone to visit the Puustelli Showroom since “Chef Anna” is often found cooking in the beautiful Puustelli kitchens and she is always happy to share her Finnish delights!

Anna acquired her cooking skills by helping her parents in the daily meals. They let her make a mess and try whatever she wanted to cook or bake! Since she was young, she has been very serious about her culinary skills. She has always tried to think through every last detail from taste to presentation. She’s always ready to surprise with something new or exciting and create a moment people will remember and truly enjoy…Anna wants to inspire people to cook!

Anna has a Bachelor of Science in nursing and has worked in the medical field for over 15 years. In her free time, Anna spends time with her family and enjoys hot yoga and is an enthuastic CrossFitter.

Registration & appetizers commencing at 5:30 pm.  Event will around 8:30 pm.

Reservations are due on or before noon on Friday, June 7th.
 
No refunds thereafter.  Refunds prior to that date will be issued by check or the registration fee may be applied to a future meeting.   To pay by check, make payable to “FCS Professionals” and mail to FCS Professionals, 376 132nd Ave, Houlton, WI 54082.

Continuing Education:  PDU and CEU credits have been requested for this event.
