Dynamic Programs & Speakers
From September through May, our programs provide an opportunity to hear top-notch professionals present business, food and other consumer science related trends, expertise and insights that can be integrated into career, community and life opportunities. Due to cautions with COVID-19, our program meetings will transition to a virtual format. This approach makes it possible to participate from the comfort and safety of your home or any other remote location.
Check out our new networking series called Huddle Up. We are providing an opportunity to meet person-to-person with seven other members during warm weather months. Meetings take place outdoors at homes, a park, or any place we can safely social distance. You will meet highly respected professional leaders and experts from a wide range of careers, an excellent place to hear their career stories and make valuable connections. Tapping into this network can provide information about career options, employment opportunities, tips on how to start a consulting business and more!
Every year, we recognize five members that have exhibited a high level of leadership making an impact to the organization, from an Emerging Leader to an Outstanding Professional Leader. The winners are then recognized in the media.
Sharpen your leadership skills by joining a committee or volunteer to serve on the Executive Team that leads the organization. There is lots of support that provides guidance and growth for success. The Executive Team and Committee Chairs have also moved to virtual meetings.
Our professional members provide a wealth of talent that is just waiting to be shared in a one-on-one stress-free environment. Their varied careers, experiences and connections provide the strong foundation for the mentorship program. Members are partnered with other members to explore areas of interest such as career opportunities, fine tuning computer skills, learning some aspect of social media, etc.
Continuing Education Credits
Are you looking for continuing education credits required by an employer or association for certification renewal or career advancement? Our monthly programs are educational in nature and we provide continuing education credit certificates for many of them.

Yearly Membership Dues:
Full-time or part-time (more than 8 credits per semester) undergraduate or graduate student actively enrolled in an accredited college or professional program.
2020-21 Year – Special 95th Birthday rate until Oct. 1 of $30.00
