Dynamic Programs

From September through May, you have the opportunity to attend programs where top-notch professionals present business and food related trends, expertise and insights that can be integrated into career, community and life opportunities.

Professional Networking

Our members are highly respected professional leaders and experts from a wide range of careers, an excellent place to make valuable connections.  Tapping into this network will provide information about career options, employment opportunities, tips on how to start a consulting business and more!

Interesting Food & Meeting Places

Discover new and unique food and venues as our meeting spaces vary from month to month.  The group relishes the exploration associated with dining on ethnic or regional foods, trying new restaurants or meeting in exclusive, distinctive and interesting places.

Leadership Opportunities & Recognition

Sharpen your leadership skills by joining a committee or volunteer to serve on the executive team that leads the organization. There is lots of support that provides guidance and growth for success. Every year, we recognize a young professional and an outstanding professional leader making significant impact to the organization. The winners are then recognized in the media.

Our professional members provide a wealth of talent that is just waiting to be shared in a one-on-one stress-free environment. Their varied careers, experiences and connections provide the strong foundation for the mentorship program. Members are partnered with other members to explore areas of interest such as career opportunities, fine tuning computer skills, learning some aspect of social media, etc.!

Continuing Education Credits

Does your employer require continuing education credits? We can help with that. Our monthly meetings are educational in nature and we provide continuing education credit certificates for most of them.

I came across the FCSP website and it instantly grabbed my attention and made me want to become a member. On top of that, everyone was so welcoming and kind at my first meeting. I am so thankful I found FCSP and met this wonderful group!

One of the first organizations I joined as a new professional in the food industry in 2006 was FCS Professionals (TC HEIB at the time). Year after year, it's one of the best investments for me to make – the community of support, high-value networking, knowledge-sharing, and professional leadership and fellowship consistently delivers year after year!

I was honored as a 50 year member of AAFCS in June 2016, joining HEIB at the same time. Serving on the local and national levels of all four groups – Nationals HEIB, TCHEIB, AHEA, and MHEA – I gained leadership skills, learned new proficiencies, networked with colleagues, and made many new friends. Viewing the group from a historical position, I wholeheartedly support these new organizations and members.
